Receive core nutrition services without a membership or opt in to our functional medicine membership program, designed for patients with complex medical needs.
2. Submit Your Information
Fill out a simple “Get Started” form. Our team will verify your insurance or direct-pay options and send you your medical intake forms within a few days of your interest form submission.
3. Book Your First Visit
While you’re onboarding, schedule your initial 75-minute nutrition consultation.
4. Begin Your Journey
We’ll design your personalized plan, recommend labs, and set up supplement protocols as needed.
5. Stay Supported
Continue with follow-ups, unlimited messaging, and tracking tools so you never feel like you’re doing this alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. Core nutrition services are available without a membership. Patients who would like to work with an Integrative and Functional Certified Nutritional Practitioner to manage their medically complex cases may sign up for our $15/month Complex Care Nutrition Membership, but this is not a requirement to receive nutrition services from Thrive.
Yes! Our nutrition services are billed to insurance; in fact, 94% of our patients have their medical nutrition therapy covered by insurance.
We are in-network with the following providers: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal, Blue Cross Blue Shield Out of State, Cigna, First Carolina Care, MedCost, Tricare Select (East Only – Excludes Tricare West & Tricare for Life), Tricare Prime (with referral), UMR, Ambetter, and United Health Care.
We always recommend checking in with your insurance provider to determine coverage, co-pays, and limitations.
We offer transparent, affordable cash rates to patients who are not covered by one of our in-network insurance providers. Additional discounts are available for services purchased as a package. Medicare/Medicaid patients are eligible for additional discounts. Current Nutrition cash rates are:
Initial Visit: $195 (75 minutes)
Follow-up Visits: $155 (60 minutes)
Absolutely. All Thrive Nutrition providers are Registered Dietitians/Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RD/RDN) or Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS).
