Registered Dietitian

Kate Randall
MS, RDN, LD, CYI, IFNCP

Hi, I’m Kate Randall—a Registered Dietitian with a passion for blending culinary arts, tactical performance nutrition, ancient healing traditions, and integrative and functional medicine. I’m fascinated by the gut-brain connection and how the foods we eat can influence everything from immune function to mental well-being.

My journey started at the Culinary Institute of America, where I honed my love for food, and continued at Central Michigan University, where I earned my B.S. in Dietetics and Military Science. I later pursued a Master’s in Nutrition with a focus on Nutritional Wellness at Logan University to deepen my expertise.

Along the way, I’ve worked with Army Special Forces and served as an Olympic sports dietitian at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, helping elite athletes and military personnel optimize their performance through targeted nutrition. As a part-time Army Reservist, I’m committed to supporting service members and their families with evidence-based nutrition strategies.

Outside of work, I’m all about fermenting foods, cooking, traveling with my husband, and staying active through cycling, hiking, and yoga. My deep appreciation for traditional Chinese medicine has profoundly shaped my approach to health—I’ve personally experienced the benefits of acupuncture, Qi Gong, and herbal therapies, and I love weaving these elements into a holistic wellness framework. At the heart of it all, I believe food is medicine, and I’m on a mission to help others harness its power for better health and vitality!
